DMCA Policy

Inde Zimbabwe Cricket is committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) Policy outlines the procedures for copyright owners to notify Inde Zimbabwe Cricket of alleged copyright infringement, and for users to submit counter-notifications when their content has been removed due to a mistake or misidentification.

We take copyright infringement seriously and will respond to notices of alleged infringement that comply with the DMCA and other applicable laws. We reserve the right to remove content alleged to be infringing without prior notice, at our sole discretion, and without liability to you.

Filing a DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible on the Inde Zimbabwe Cricket website, please provide our Copyright Agent with a written DMCA Notice containing the following information (as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):

  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit Inde Zimbabwe Cricket to locate the material (e.g., the URL(s) where the material is located on our site).
  4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit Inde Zimbabwe Cricket to contact the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail address at which the complaining party may be contacted.
  5. A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Please note that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages.
